Independent Horizons

Overview

Independent Horizon is an adult visual novel currently in development (18+). The story follows Tom, a 20-year-old who was taken in by a kind and supportive couple when he was just a baby. Soon after, the couple had a child of their own, Pauline. Tom and Pauline grew up together and shared a lot of memories as childhood friends.

Tom feels lucky to have grown up in a warm and loving home, but he’s also curious about his past. Now that he’s an adult, he wants to learn more about where he came from, whether his birth family is still out there, and if he has any relatives. While studying and working a part-time job to support himself, Tom begins his journey to find answers. At the same time, he wants to build a more independent life.

Mrs. Cruz may not have liked the idea initially, but she eventually realizes that Tom is an adult who needs to live on his own.
